The Advent of bifolding external doors has revolutionised the backs of many homes, these doors are in fact a series of smaller door panels linked together on special hinges that enable the entire door opening to be opened up.

By folding back on themselves apertures from 6′ right up to 20′ can usually be accomodated (even longer in some cases).

These doors are available in many configurations and different materials.

Pvcu Bifold doors are available and are probably the more affordable option.

These doors are also available in Aluminium in a whole host of RAL colours to suit any colour scheme.

Bifold doors fold (or stack) to either one side or both ways depending on the aperture width.

The doors usually fold or stack on the inside, but some pvcu ones and all aluminium doors can stack on the outside as well.

(With these doors, space is required to accomodate the doors when folded back)
